Day – 73 – First time

Everyday was a step,

Steeped beyond my legs

Which I stepped,

All the same, At a time.

When the world viced me tight,

draining the will of my mind,

I stared up in awe, only

to cloud the empty sky myself.

I drenched myself in the shits

Which I never intend to name.

Until, She knocked me down and far,

Hurting the way I missed.

I glanced at the red sky

For my first firestorm.

A nice prompt from the imaginary garden with real toads.

Part of my #The100DaysOfPoetryLearning project.
