Five minutes later.
“Yes, again! Are you dumb too, now?”
“No, sorry,” she whispered.
“Let’s add spineless to the list, Shall we?”
“I’m so-” she couldn’t finish.
“Don’t ever apologize again! I’m sick of it. I’m sick of you! Why don’t you just get lost!”. He screamed through the roof.
“But… I… Don’t,” she began sobbing, falling to the floor on her knees.
“Aww, baby!” he went running to her side catching her before she hit the dusty carpet floor.
“I didn’t mean anything of it. We don’t even have to do that community drama if you don’t want,” he lied.
“Are you sure?” she lifted her head to look up at his warm face.
“Yes! Of course, sweetie” They kissed passionately and silently.
“Cut!” the voice screamed.
It’s not easy doing an one man show. What’s harder is doing an one man show about a guy directing and acting in his own one man show about a husband and wife practicing for a community drama in Illinois. What a day for the drama industry!
