Day – 42 – Mugshot!

I dropped a coin at the corner,

to the homeless man.

Swung and walked straight,

On the air,

holding the street lamp.

Caught a balloon,

For the crying kid!

Bought a hot dog,

For vendor’s smile!

She walks, straight,

Her legs, Not her hip!

She didn’t take a look!

Not even a peek!

Does she know I exist?

I might have to go to the moon!

Then came that wind!

That wind!!!

Lifting her skirt,

Shifting my thoughts,

Fixing my eyes,

Where gentlemen don’t look!

She turn and frown!

In her mind,

I forever look,

A mugshot!

For stealing her gaze,

At last!

      1. You will have even better days! Keep writing… keep playing with words. Ask questions freely. And above all, shake off any negativity anyone tries to hand you.

  1. Oh my…..I am right on this street, walking with you and seeing and hearing and watching all of this! You’ve really put the reader in the scene. Well done! Mr Munroe…..I wonder who he really was????
